Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Pal app (hereinafter referred to as “the App”), created for mobile devices by Toshimitsu Kugimoto (hereinafter referred to as “the Service Provider”) as a free service (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”). The Service is intended to be used as is.
Collection and Use of Information
The App collects information when downloaded and used. This information may include:
• The Internet Protocol address of your device (e.g., IP address)
• Email address
• Pages visited within the App, the date and time of the visit, and time spent on the pages
• Time spent using the App
• The operating system of your mobile device
• Data representing diary entries, values, goals, etc., that you input into the App
• Health and exercise-related data recorded on your mobile device
The App does not collect precise location information of your mobile device.
The Service Provider may use the provided information to contact you with important information, necessary notifications, and marketing promotions.
To provide a better experience, the Service Provider may request personally identifiable information (e.g., email address). The information requested by the Service Provider will be retained and used as described in this Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Access
The Service Provider periodically sends aggregated anonymized data to external services to assist in improving the App and Service. The Service Provider may share information with third parties as described in this Privacy Statement.
The App uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies regarding the handling of data. Below are links to the privacy policies of third-party service providers used in the App:

The Service Provider may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information in the following cases:

• To protect the rights, safety of users, or others, to investigate fraud, or to respond to a government request
• If a trusted service provider is working on behalf of the Service Provider, agrees to use the information only as instructed, and follows the rules of this Privacy Statement
Additionally, the App sends data representing diary entries, values, and goals entered by you to the Gemini API provided by Google. The sent data is processed by the Gemini AI model for purposes such as automatic title generation, sentiment analysis, and feedback. Opt-Out Rights
You can easily stop all information collection by uninstalling the App. You can uninstall the App through the standard uninstall process for your mobile device or through the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider retains user-provided data for a reasonable period while using the App and thereafter. If you wish to delete user-provided data through the App, please contact palapp.earth@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.
Children’s Privacy
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 13. The App is not intended for individuals under 13. If the Service Provider becomes aware that personal information has been provided by a child under 13, it will be deleted immediately from the servers. If you become aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact palapp.earth@gmail.com. We will take the necessary steps.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about protecting the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information processed and maintained.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating the new Privacy Policy on this page. It is recommended to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes. Continued use of the App will be deemed as acceptance of all changes.
